Michael to score Room 237 from Nine Ladies Film

I was delighted to be asked to score Room 237, the latest short from director Stuart Wheeldon at Nine Films Film. Room 237 will star Nigel Barber (Mission Impossible, Spectre) and is due to shoot in November 2018. Watch this space for some updates!

Hookworm Officially Selected at Chelmsford FF

I really enjoyed crafting a subtle score for Hookworm directed by Noah Aldhous. Great to see it getting some recognition at the Chelmsford Film Festival.  If you're in the area on 7 June then pop along to the Everyman theatre and check it out.

Forward Fix

I'm really pleased to be working again with Sean & Rich over at Paternoster Productions.  After a successful collaboration on 'Red Hoodie', I was delighted to be approached to score 'Forward Fix' - a sci-fi thriller starring Chloe Crump. Look out for details of the premiere!

Missing out on top spot, but keeping great company!

Despite making the shortlist, my score failed to take home the spoils at the Short Sounds Film Festival in Bournemouth this evening. The disappointment soon faded as I got to spend some time with the Hollywood legend that is Rupert Gregson-Williams, who had some nice things to say about my music and some even better Hollywood anecdotes!

Hookworm Premiere at the BFI

Great to be here at the British Film institute for the premiere of Hookworm. It's been said the best barometer of good film-making is reception. To hear audience gasps and whispers at the critical junctures told me Noah Aldhous nailed it. Some excellent sound/dub work which provided the score with the space it needed to underpin the sub-text. OST now available on iTunes including this extended bonus track of 'Getting Intimate'.
