Following on from the success of Evo Grid 1, this second instalment includes some truly inspiring orchestrations from the uber talented Ben Foskett. Here at SFW we have added this library to our palette of sounds and are using it extensively within our next library album. Keep an eye on our showreel for forthcoming demos.
Busy, Busy, Busy....
Another busy week draws to close here at SFW. The last few days have been devoted to finishing a pitch for an orchestral commission which is likely to be aired on the BBC in 2016. We've also been beavering away on the next project for BDTL Team whilst developing some early sketches for a library album. Finally, we've made some interesting additions to our sample libraries this week - keep an eye on the showreel for some 'esoteric nostalgia'....
Providing 'The Edge' to Thinkspace
SFW is delighted to announce that our track 'The Edge', is now licensed to Thinkspace Education (University of Chichester) for use in a trailer promoting their various courses. Guy Michelmore and his team at Thinkspace offer 'real world' training to aspiring composers which in the main is delivered by working professionals with significant credits. Hopefully 'The Edge' will provide Thinkspace with "The Edge' over its competitors!
Attack, Attack!
Michael is currently busy in the studio scoring a mammoth cue for the Bringing Doctrine to Life project at the UK Ministry of Defence. The guys at the BDTL team have been busy filming some monstrous war machines in action which the team will combine with CGI imagery in a 40min depiction of a Battle Group attack. Almost constant dialogue requires some subtly in the score however when required, there is opportunity for much 'trailer epicness!'. Immense fun to produce and a truly great team to work with.
